What We're All About

Within these pages are a collection of articles focusing on three main themes. 1. The modern day, business run, Institutional 'Church' System versus Christ's Authentic, Legitimate Home based church. 2. Income Tithing versus New Covenant Giving. 3. A 'One Man Show' Senior Pastor Leadership versus the true Plurality of Elders in a house church setting.

In my articles, when I render the word 'Church' as shown here, I am referring to man's idea of an entrepreneurial based Institutional 'Church' System set up and run as a business entity. When I render the word church in all lower case letters, I am referring to Christ's authentic, legitimate home based church, which operates free of debt, led by Christ Himself, which He created and continues to build.

I will explore and explain the differences of each theme based on the light of Scripture. I will attempt to uncover the many reasons why and how we became so entrenched in man's concept of 'Church' rather than God's.

I'd like to make a suggestion to all those who are visiting this Blog for the first time. A good place to start would be to Take The Tithe Test listed in the Post Titles section above. In 2009, the issue of tithing was the main topic I stumbled upon that led me to many other discoveries of man's traditional doctrines that I would have not otherwise considered as being inconsistent with the Bible. After realizing just how wrong I was regarding the concept of tithing, I soon realized that I may have been wrong on many other traditional doctrines taught in the Institutional 'Church.' This Blog is a result of those findings.

My intention is not to ridicule those in the pastorate or those dedicated to the business of 'Church,' but to enlighten and warn the saved (and the lost) who have mistakenly taken the idea of Christ's church from a Fellowship and made it into an Enterprise.

Come inside and journey with me through a liberating voyage of the mind, heart and Scripture. The passages of Scripture we'll be looking at will be taken from the 1769 edition of the Cambridge 1611 King James Bible. My prayer is that many will embrace the fellowship Jesus created as a local, physical, on-going, free, living organism, and forsake the world of the Professional, business-run, organizational enterprise a.k.a. the World's Religious Establishment geared towards power and Profit.

I ask that we heed what Paul wrote when he quoted the Lord, "come out from among them and be ye separate,...and touch not the unclean thing..." Organized Religion is an unclean 'thing.' Christ never intended His church to be a 'thing.' His assembly is supposed to be who we ARE!
